@nceca holds an annual conference and this year I was fortunate to visit Detroit and (try to) take it all in.

Still having a great time in Detroit.
Empty Bowls fundraiser program was founded here 35 years ago. They are having a huge event and people jave brought handmade bowls from around the country. I donated 2 bowls, pictured above.

I brought this mug to donate to the cup sale.
Last night we had delicious food & sushi at an awesome place that served everything on handmade wares.
Sightseeing around downtown. Directly across from Canada.
Lots of art, inspiration and creative people.

Here's what almost 3 hours of progress looks like. Much more to come, but feeling good about filling in the background.
I have been able to speak to a lot of visitors and hear some really nice feedback about my exhibit. As well as answer questions about my techniques.
